We are happy to announce that this year the traditional Meeting (and the following days of hiking) is being organised by
Servas Slovakia and Servas Austria
Vysoké Tatry (High Tatras) are the highest mountains in Slovakia, which are located in the northern part of Slovakia, just at the border with Poland. Tourists are visiting this part of the country for hiking, skiing and doing other sports, or just relaxing surrounded by a beautiful countryside.

The family-run Penzión Pol’ana is situated just below the Slavkovsky Peak and a 10-minute walk from the centre of Stary Smokovec. It is a great starting point for hiking in the High Tatras.

How to get there:
By train to Poprad, change train for Stary Smokovec, change for Horny Smokovec – the pension is opposite the station
By car: We’ll send out the list of participants at the beginning of summer so that you can organise car-sharing / suitable pick-up points etc. For your best route, see various route planning sites on the internet.
